Grilled skirt steaks


It is the act of cooking food directly over the heat, more importantly, it is the first method used by humans to cook their food as well. With time goes by, it has remained unchanged. Tha’t why we all love it. And the steak is a common meats for grilling. Today I’m gotta to introduce you a more tasty part of beef, which is the skirt steak. It is long, flat and prized for it’s flavor rather than tenderness.



2 pounds skirt steak, cut into 4 to 6 pieces
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp coriander
2 tablespoons freshly cracked black peper
Kosher salt to taste
1/4 cup olive oil



Firstly, you need to build a two-level fire in the grill, that is to say, put all the coals on one side of grill and make the other side become free of coals. And when the flames have gone out, all the coals were covered with grey ash, which means it's time to cook. 


In order to make a tasty meat, it's necessary for us to combine the salt and spices in a small bowl to mix well. Then rub it with the olive oil to make sure it adheres.


Now it's time to put the steaks on the grill, remerbering that put them directly over the coals, which contributes to its flavor. If you want medium rare for your meat, please grill it for about 4 to 6 minutes per side. Or if you want to check for doneness, cut into the thickest part and see whether the meat is what you want to be or not. 


After that, transfer the skirt steaks to the cutting board and have them rest for 5 minutes or so with foil. Do not forget this step, it makes the temperature of the meats more suitable for you to eat. 


And then, slice them to serve, your meal is ready.
