Pork

INTRODUCTION

 
 

Beef, pork and lamb are among the top three popular meat for barbecue, tailgating, camp activities.  There are various drooling recipes for these. Today we are going to introduce a grilled pork recipe that will definitely hit your dinner or backyard party.

2 pound pork tenderloin
2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
1/4 cup mild-flavored molasses
1 tbsp honey
1 tsp red pepper powder
1 tsp red kosher salt
3 tsp finely chopped garlic
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
2 tsp Dijon mustard
2 tsp coarse-grained mustard

Mix olive oil, molasses, honey, garlic, and two types of mustard into a bow and blend them well.

Place the pork in a heavy-duty resealable plastic bag, and pour the marinade all over. Then rub the meat until it gets finely coated. Squeeze out the air from the bag and seal the bag tightly. Refrigerate pork for 5-6 hours.

Preheat the grill to a medium heat and lightly oil the grate.

After draining out the marinade into a saucepan, sprinkle the pork evenly with salt and pepper powder. Put the pork onto the grill until its internal temperature reaches 145°F, for about 30 minutes. You can turn it over one or two times during the grilling process in case that it get overcharred. Transfer the pork to a serving platter and let it rest for 5 minutes.

Cut pork crosswise into 1/2-inch-thick slices. After well arranged on the platter, drizzle sauce all over and serve warm.
