Seafood
You can hardly go wrong with grilling burgers. Especially when sometimes you are having limited time, or you just want to have something filling as well as delicious, burger is a good idea for your grill.
Today’s recipe is about stuffed shrimp burger, which is favored by many people. It is your choice to have ground beef or pork, as it’s all about personal preference. Here we’ll take ground beef for instance.
Ingredients you’ll need:
Shrimp, peeled and diveined
Ground beef
Salt and pepper
Cheese
Mayonnaise
Ketchup
Fresh lime juice
Hamburger buns
Tools / Equipments you’ll need:
Royal Gourmet SG6002 Gas Grill
Royal Gourmet CC1830F Charcoal Grill
Royal Gourmet Burger Patty Press
First of all, take some ground beef and have them well seasoned. You probably have your favourite seasoning recipe which you can simply apply on the beef. Remember not to over season it. Here we’ll simply use salt and pepper, in order to enjoy the natural flavor from beef and shrimp as much as possible.
Spread a little (according the size of your burger patty) beef on the burger patty press, form a well with finger. Then add some shrimps into the well and top it with a second beef patty.
Pinch the edges to seal and press lightly with the burger patty press.
Some may like to have shrimp processed with food processor, and then mix it with beef. Again, it is a personal preference and we really recommend the wonderful taste of whole shrimps.
Light up your grill and it is barbecue time!
Gas grills are easy to use and clean, and they help you deliver great results quickly. Meanwhile, if you are a charcoal grills fan, it is, in fact, a definitely great choice to lend your burgers some smokey flavor.
It won’t take too long. Cook 4-5 minutes for each side while having the lid covered. Open the lid and top the patties with your favourite cheese, and cook it for 1 more minute to let the cheese melt. At the same time, have a good mixture of mayonnaise, ketchup and fresh lime juice, so that you can apply it later on the buns.
After one minute, take the patties out and just be ready to enjoy your freshly grilled juicy burger! Add onion rings and lettuce, top with the second bun, and some mouthwatering beef-and-shrimp burgers are simply done.
The stuffed shrimp burgers combine the flavor of beef and shrimp for a truly great mixture. Make yourself some of this and grab a beer before the start of a football game, nothing can be more perfect!
